In any case where there is conflict between these conditions and any terms proposed by the buyer then the "Office.ie" terms and conditions shall apply. 6.1.  When you place an order through our site, you warrant that:

7.  Formation Of Contract

7.1.  "Office.ie" specialises in selling to business consumers and reserves the right to refuse the order at our sole discretion. When you place an order via our Website, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Order acknowledgements and confirmation sent by "Office.ie" are for your convenience only and does not constitute an acceptance of your order. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product. If we decline your order for any reason we will normally inform you by e-mail or telephone. A contract will not be deemed final between the "Buyer" and "Office.ie" for the sale of any of their products unless Office.ie accepts your order by sending you a v.a.t. invoice. Title in the supplied does not pass to the "Buyer" until such time as any debt due to the seller "Office.ie" is discharged.

  1. Availability And Delivery

8.1.  Where your order is placed before 5.00 p.m. on a working day we will aim to deliver your order on the following working day. Products such as furniture and bespoke products may require a longer delivery time. We will advise you of any expected delay and we will give you an estimated delivery date. You can choose to accept the estimated delivery date or cancel the order if it does not suit your circumstances. A full refund will be provided. We will always require a signature on receipt of delivery of all our products.

8.2.  As a general rule delivery is free of charge for orders over €75.00 ex v.a.t. A delivery charge applies for orders which fall below €75.00 ex v.a.t. of €7.50 ex. v.a.t. unless otherwise agreed. Additional delivery charges may apply for items over 30kg, Safes and bulky items. You will be advised before delivery is made.

8.4.  We deliver throughout Ireland. We deliver between 9.00 a.m. to 5.00p.m. Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays. We do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

8.5.  We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to supply product of alternative specification from that detailed on the website. In such cases every effort would be made to supply a product of at least the same quality with no adverse consequence to the customer at the same price. This does not affect the "Buyer's" right to return products to "Office.ie" in accordance with our terms and conditions.

8.6.  Please be aware that if you order a safe or furniture or other large or heavy items that our delivery team are insured to deliver to the ground floor of buildings. If you are ordering this type of product we will ask you questions regarding access, however, the responsibility lays with you the Buyer to ensure that there is sufficient access e.g. adequate door widths or a lift service. For B2B customer';s furniture is assembled prior to delivery in the Dublin and surrounding areas. For customer's outside of these areas furniture is delivered flat-packed and requires self-assembly unless otherwise agreed at the time of ordering.   1. Inspection On Delivery

9.1.  When you receive the goods you should immediately inspect them for damage and faults. You must inform us within 48 hours of delivery if you have a discrepancy between the goods you received and the goods you ordered. You must inform us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods if you consider that the goods are faulty or damaged, otherwise the goods are considered to have been correctly delivered, free from damage or faults and that the product(s) are in good working order. This will be without prejudice to any damage or fault you could not have discovered on reasonable inspection of the goods.

  1. Failure To Receive The Goods

10.1.  If delivery is attempted within our stated delivery hours and you are not present to take receipt of the goods, we will contact you and give you the option of collecting the goods from our warehouse at no additional cost. In the event you want a further delivery attempt, a delivery charge will apply, unless otherwise waived solely at the discretion of the Company. Our office will contact you with the details.

  1. Our Refunds And Returns Policy

11.1.  You may choose to return a Product for any reason provided that:

11.2.  You notify us by email, post or fax of your desire to return the Product within 14 working days of receipt of the product(s) subject to:

11.3.  The Product is in its original unopened packaging unmarked with unbroken seals where relevant. The product must be in a resalable condition. The Buyer in this case must pay for the cost of the returns to the seller.

    Furniture - special non - stocked furniture products.

    Bespoke products - e.g. printing, personalised Stamps, signs.

    Food and clothing products - due to our health and safety policy.

    Computer hardware/software /selected business machines and bespoke orders.

11.5.  If you receive goods in a damaged or deficient condition you must notify us immediately or within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. If the Buyer meets the terms and conditions set out at 11.3. above, we will contact you with a returns number and we will arrange for collection of the goods at our cost. On inspection of the returned goods and if our resaleable conditions are met we will process the refund in respect of the price of the product, including any delivery charges as soon as possible and in any case within 14 days of us receiving the product(s) back in our warehouse. If you contact us outside of the 14 day period and the Products are not defective then we may at our discretion accept a return of the Products subject to a re-shelving charge of 15%. The refund will be in the form of a credit note. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchases.

12.  Pricing

12.1.  The price of all products sold will be the price that is quoted on the website. We shall update this information periodically. In spite of our careful attention to pricing, errors may occur leading to a product being mis-priced inadvertently. If an item's correct price is lower than our quoted price, we will charge the lower (correct) amount and deliver the item to you. If an item's correct price is higher than our quoted price, Office.ie will have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders placed and refund the buyer. In such cases we will contact the buyer to inform them. All prices quoted on the website are exclusive of v.a.t. (unless shown otherwise). We will charge v.a.t. on invoices at the current rate applicable. If your company is v.a.t. exempt, you will need to supply us with a current valid 13B v.a.t. exemption form. The tax status of the Buyer shall be a matter between the Buyer and the appropriate tax authority.

13.1.  We may contact you periodically to communicate promotions and special offers. As per the legal requirements, on every communication a valid 'opt-out' option will be provided.

  1. Payment Terms

14.1.  Payment is due at the point of order by a valid credit/Debit card for all orders unless agreed otherwise between the parties. We reserve the right to refuse to process orders where we believe that there may be card fraud, misrepresentation or any other form of abuse.

  1. Credit Account

15.1.  Credit Accounts are available to approved Business Accounts. Our Credit Terms are 30 days from calendar month end unless an alternative agreement in writing exists between Office.ie and the Buyer. Any failure on the part of the buyer to pay our invoices in the time stated on the part of the buyer to pay our invoices in the time stated may result in "Office.ie" taking appropriate action to recover the debt, or suspension of the Buyer's authority to purchase goods or services from us, or a claim from "Office.ie" being pursued to recover such interest on the outstanding debt as may be appropriate. We reserve the right to pursue repossession of the goods provided.

16.1  We accept payment with all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept American express or Diners Club Credit Cards. We accept cheques from none Credit Accounts however they will need to be lodged and cleared in the bank before your order is despatched. Where payment is due with your order, the payment is deducted before we process the order. We also accept payments via PayPal. Alternatively payments by Cheque and Bank Transfer are accepted for Credit Accounts.

  1. Credit Card And Data Security

17.1  All orders passed through our website are done so via highly secure SSL encryption, to ensure your data is safe. Our chosen payment gateway provider is PXP-Solutions who are PCI DSS Certified. We do not store any credit card details on our servers. Credit/Debit card information taken for over the phone orders are processed on-line with PXP-Solutions. For your security, never email or text any credit card details to us.

18.1  Office.ie has the right to revise and change these terms and conditions from time to time. Revisions will take effect by amending this page, by communicating with you in writing or electronically. The Buyer is subject to the terms and conditions that are in force at the time you order products from our website. The only exceptions are where we are required to change our terms and conditions by law or Governmental authority in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you, or in the case that we notify you of the changes to our terms and conditions before we provide despatch confirmation, In such situations we will assume that you have accepted the changes unless you situations we will assume that you have accepted the changes unless you notify us in writing within 3 days of the product(s) being delivered.

20.2.  The Seller warrants that the Goods supplied will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery and thereafter the manufacturer';s warranty conditions will apply. The Goods are designed for the purpose described in this catalogue and any trade literature and are subject to any limitations described therein.

20.3.  If the Seller is in breach of the warranty at condition 20.2. then the Buyer shall inform the Seller no later than 10 days from delivery date. The Buyer shall retain the Goods and packaging for inspection. This warranty is subject to the Seller being under no liability for any defect(s) in the Buyer's design or requirements or arising from negligence, wilful damage, wear and tear or failure to follow instructions, misuse or of the full price has not been paid to the Seller.

20.4.  All other warranties expressed or implied are expressly excluded to the extent permitted by law.

20.5.  The Seller's sole liability for defective or damaged Goods shall be to repair or replace at its option the Goods or relevant part.

20.6.  Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability that we are not permitted by law to exclude or (as the case may be) limit.
